The Judgment
Innocence. Sublime success. Perseverance is advantageous. If one is not what one ought to be, there is misfortune.
The Image
Beneath Heaven, thunder rolls: all things attain the natural state of innocence. Thus the ancient kings, rich in virtue and in harmony with the times, nourished and cared for all beings.
Meaning
Spontaneity, authenticity, natural action. To act without calculation or ulterior motive. The moment demands being true and following one's deep nature.
The six lines
Line 1 (bottom)
Innocent conduct brings good fortune.
Line 2
If one does not count on the harvest when plowing, nor on the use of the field when clearing it, then it is advantageous to undertake something.
Line 3
Unmerited misfortune. The cow tied by a passer-by is the gain of the passer-by and the loss of the townsman.
Line 4
He who can be persevering remains without blame.
Line 5
In case of unmerited sickness, use no medicine. It will pass of its own accord.

Innocent action brings misfortune. Nothing is advantageous.
